President Trump turned to twitter to call out the media for all the current fake news being reported. In specific Trump references the book by Michael Wolff that has been shown is filled with half truths and outright false information.
washingtonexaminer.com reports: "The View" co-host Meghan McCain confronted author Michael Wolff over the errors and journalism tactics used in his new controversial book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House on Wednesday.
McCain asked Wolff about his credibility, which has been called into question since excerpts of the book were released last week and critics pointed out inconsistencies in his reporting. When Wolff tried to turn the conversation around, she began listing off a number of the book’s skeptics including President Trump, New York Times’ Maggie Haberman, and Vogue’s Anna Wintour.
“This hits a special place for me because my family has been the subject of a book like this,” McCain said, referencing the book Game Change, which was about the 2008 presidential campaign of her father, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.
“Traditionally, in situations like this, it’s the disgruntled staffers who aren’t loyal to their principal who give interviews like this,” she continued, while pointing to factual errors such as ages and names.

BREAKING: Oops!! Michael Wolff Got Caught!!
Author of the incendiary book Fire and Fury, Michael Wolff, has now admitted that he did not interview and Trump cabinet members despite earlier claims.
The Gateway Pundit reported: Author Michael Wolff admitted Monday that he did not interview Vice President Mike Pence or any Cabinet members, though some of the more incendiary claims in his book “Fire and Fury” are credited to Cabinet members.
Wolff spoke with CBS on Tuesday morning.
Infowars posted the transcript:
Host Norah O’Donnell asked Wolf, “Did you speak to any members of the president’s Cabinet for this book?”
Wolff responded, “I did not.”
You did not?” O’Donnell repeated.
“I did not,” Wolff confirmed.
She then asked Wolff if he ever interviewed Vice President Mike Pence.
“I did not,” Wolff said again.
O’Donnell also noted Trump denied having ever been interviewed by Wolff.
“The president denies he ever spoke to you for the book, at all,” O’Donnell said.

SEE VIDEO: Trump Burns Michael Wolff!
President Trump has just eviscerated Michael Wolff in a recent statement at Camp David, claiming that Wolff never once interviewed him for the book "Fire and Fury".
More context, from Zerohedge:
Some were stunned, others shocked, yet others found absolutely nothing surprising about Trump's Saturday morning tweetstorm, in which the president defended his mental state, claiming "my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart... I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius....and a very stable genius at that!"
The media certainly had follow-up questions, and a few hours later, at Camp David Trump was asked "why did he feel the need to tweet" about his mental state, to which the president had a lengthy response: "well, because I went to the best colleges, or college," Trump spoke flanked by GOP congressional leaders.
"I had a situation where I was a very excellent student, came out, made billions and billions of dollars, became one of the top business people, went to television and for 10 years was a tremendous success, which you've probably heard."
Trump reiterated that Michael Wolff, the author of the bombshell new book "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House," which has raised fresh questions about Trump's competency, did not have access to the White House for his reporting.
"[Then I] ran for president one time and won, and then I hear this guy that does not know me, does not know me at all. By the way, did not interview me for three hours, it didn't exist, OK? It's in his imagination," Trump said.
As we reported earlier, on Saturday morning Trump wrote that throughout his life, his "two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart... I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius....and a very stable genius at that!” he added.
Trump has made similar comments about his mental ability before, in an interview with CNN in 2015.
“I had an uncle went to MIT who is a top professor. Dr. John Trump. A genius,” Trump said at the time. “It’s in my blood. I’m smart. Great marks. Like really smart.”
