Eric Trump just took to Twitter to call out even more fake news.
The president's son directed his shot at CNN for a report they had done about the financial well-being of President Trump's golf course. CNN had reported on the profit loss of the Trump course in 2017 compared to 2016. According to Eric Trump, what they failed to mention is that the 2017 records covered a 12 month span, while the 2016 records covered 16 months.
Here's what Eric had to say.
Here's the article Trump is referencing as reported by cnn.com
(CNN)Though President Trump frequents his own Trump-branded golf courses regularly, taking foreign leaders onto the green and to the clubs for meals, the golf courses made him less money in his first year as President than before he took office.
Trump reported on his financial disclosure, filed with the US Office of Government Ethics and released Wednesday, that his golf-related revenue made him about $67 million less in 2017 in comparison with 2016 -- a roughly 24% decrease.
Of the 17 golf companies listed on the filing, 14 of them saw losses from the previous year.
The President saw a 27% cut in his income from the Trump National Golf Course outside Washington, where he's visited more than 20 times since taking office.
What happened to reporting the facts from a neutral position? The news has changed. In fact, it is rarely called news anymore, and is referred to as media. That's for a reason. It's become a form of entertainment driven by political bias. Every day something like this seems to happen, where certain facts are left out, or things are edited in a way to make something appear differently than it actually was. The majority of which seems to be aimed at destroying Donald Trump's presidency. Meanwhile, "The Donald" continues to accomplish more than any other president we've had in generations.
Here's what some are saying.
