Kim Jong Un has agreed to destroy a major missile testing site and begin dismantling his country’s nuclear program “virtually immediately.” In return, President Trump said at a press conference that he will be ending the expensive and "provocative" joint military exercises between the United States and South Korea.
“We will be stopping the war games, which will save us a tremendous amount of money unless and until we see the future negotiation is not going along like it should,” President Trump said. “But we’ll be saving a tremendous amount of money. Plus, I think it’s very provocative.”
In his interview with Fox News, Sean Hannity, President Trump says it will start "virtually immediately."
"I just think that we are now we are going to start the process of denuclearization of North Korea, and I believe that he’s going back and will start it virtually immediately – and he’s already indicated that and you look at what he’s done," Trump said.
"His country has to be de-nuked and he understood that, he fully understood that, he didn’t fight it," he added.
